Jacob Lewis at the 2015 WVU Commencement
Jacob Lewis had the honor of being named the guest speaker for West Virginia University's College of Creative Arts 2015 commencement ceremony. Last January, Lewis donated a mural to the university's forthcoming art museum, and coordinated an exhibition of works by How and Nosm for the WVU Creative Arts Center.
“It is a huge honor to be back here,” said Lewis at the commencement. In his speech, he spoke of his days as a printmaking student in the School of Art and Design, and his subsequent years working with Pace Prints and forming relationships with notable artists in New York City. “Thanks to WVU for everything you have done for me,” he said in conclusion. “I can’t tell you how much I love this school.”
